Emmi Christensson is a talented singer and actress with a crystal clear soprano voice. She grew up in a small village outside Falkenberg in Sweden.

 

 

With her dad being a music teacher and her sister singing opera Emmi got her start like many before her, by singing and acting with her family. She continued to build on those early experiences, training singing, musical theatre and playing the cello and piano.

 

 

Emmi trained music theatre at the Music theatre school in Bjärnum (03-04) and the Ballet academy in Gothenburg (04-07). Since then Emmi has been playing major roles in some of the worlds greatest and most loved musicals, such as Christine in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s masterpiece The Phantom of the Opera in London and Stockholm. Cosette in Les Miserables in Sweden and Norway and Maria in West Side Story.

 

Emmi was one of the soloists in the arena tour "I love musicals" with Peter jöback, Norm Lewis and Helen Sjöholm 2015.
